Make sure you have the correct packing materials
Good Strong Packing Boxes different sizes.
Packing Tape

Newspaper

Use new boxes and packing tape otherwise your boxes will sag when they are being stacked and the tape will become unstuck!
Do not skimp on the packing box size make sure you use the right size box you don’t want your fragile items rattling about in the box.
Don’t leave empty spaces in the boxes fill in gaps with towels, or packing materials.
USE THE CORRECT SIZE BOX
Smaller Boxes, for heavy items such as Records, Bottles, Heavy Ornaments, books.
Long Stemmed glasses, very fragile china, glasses and small pictures.
Medium Sized Boxes for Pots, Pans, pictures, clothing, food.
Larger Boxes for lighter items like bedding, linen, towels, shoes, toys and games, board games.
DON’T MAKE THEM TOO HEAVY
Make sure you don’t over fill the boxes you should be able to lift them without too much strain on your back.
DON’T FORGET TO LABEL THE BOXES
A nice black marker pen should do the job. Mark every box with the contents and a large FRAGILE on the side and top if the items are breakable.
